Panoramic splendor best describes the spectacular 27 hole championship golf course. Arguably the best maintained course in the desert, this Ted Robinson design incorporates mature shade trees, grand towering palms and Scottish-style bunkers. True to its name, The Lakes course brings water into play on nearly every hole. This course provides adequate challenge for any level of golfer along with unsurpassed scenic pleasure.
The Lakes Country Club was built in 1983 with a 3rd nine added in 1988. The 3 nine-hole courses are called North-East, East-South, and South-North Courses. The North and East Nines wind through the homes with many double-wide fairways. The South Nine has more contour as it was built without homes. The golf staff will take care of all your golfing needs and provides a full line-up of clinics, individual lessons, as well as a fully-stocked golf shop. The practice facilities include a full range, short-game area, chipping green, and two putting greens. A full range of year-long tournament activity for men, lady 18-holers, and lady 9-holers is offered.
